ACT Solid Hub Race Clutch Kits are ideal for drag race or road race cars which see limited street use. The solid hub discs provide quick engagement & quicker shifts due to reduced weight. Higher torque and heat capacity w/ fade free characteristics is the advantage over organic discs.

ACT pressure plates provide a generous increase in clamp load which directly increases torque capacity. ACT heat-treats their diaphragms using an exclusive 3-stage process. ACT also harden the release bearing contact area to reduce wear. Heavy Duty pressure plates offer stock to moderate pedal feel with 20-50% increase. Xtreme pressure plates offer moderate to stiff pedal feel with 50-120% increase. Maxx Xtreme pressure plates offer stiff to very stiff pedal feel with 70-150% increase.

The solid hub race discs are available in 4 or 6 pad design. The 4 pad is recommended for race only due to its quick and harsh engagement. Also due to being lightweight, it is used mostly for road racing and high hp drag cars. The 6 pad is recommended for race only with limited street use. Its characteristics are similar to the 4 pad but the 6 pad absorbs more heat for more aggressive use and has slight easier engagement. Note on all solid hub race disc kits, there will be shortened spline life if used as a daily driver.

All kits come with pressure plate and disc. Most applications include bearings and alignment tool if applicable.
