| These distributors are for Chevrolet's 90° V6 engines. With the right parts, these engines can make a lot of power, and the MSD Distributors are designed to help you accomplish that!
Starting on the inside, a 0.500" oversized steel shaft spins in a sealed ball bearing and sintered bushing for long endurance and accurate spark delivery throughout the entire rpm range. Mounted on top of the shaft is an easy-to-adjust chrome moly mechanical advance assembly. Different advance springs and stop bushings are supplied so you can choose from 24 curves.
A maintenance-free magnetic pickup provides accurate trigger signals to your MSD Ignition Control. A precision manufactured reluctor that is connected to the shaft is responsible for triggering the pickup.
All of these features are housed in a CNC-machined aluminum housing. 6061-T6 aluminum is used to provide a strong, porous-free housing with tolerances exact within 0.001". At the base of the housing there is an extra oil passage to direct oil to the cam and distributor gears for added lubrication. The distributors are topped off with a black high quality cap and Race Rotor.
